PTFE Coated laminates - Fluotex

Fluotex stands for FLUOrcarbon lined TEXtiles. Fluotex combines the strength and flexibility of a glass-fabric with the chemical resistance of PTFE. It was specially designed for the production of flexible connections in exhaust-pipes for aggressive fumes at high temperatures.

Fluotex can also be used as a protective liner in many different areas of the chemical industry.

Properties :

  • Temperature resistance continuous : 250°C
  • Temperature resistance 1 hour : 280°C
  • Tensile strength : minimum 300 daN/5 cm - both directions
  • Bubble tightness : no loss after 1000 hours at 10 bars pressure
  • Adhesion : 6 bars at 21°C
